This Steampunk or Industrial  DIY bracelet was simple and fun to construct from materials I already had on hand.

I already had a plain chain bracelet on hand but you could purchase a bracelet from Hobby Lobby. Check out the Metal Gallery Collection.

Simply attach a variety of washers with split jump rings. I found the sawtooth lock washers at The Home Depot. Throw in a few brass colored washers for added variety.

I tried painting some of the washers with nail polish for added color but it was a bit of a pain and the they scratched easily.

For kicks I plan to add seasonal charms. Attach purchased or handcrafted charms or beads to lobster clasps for quick changes. I happened to make these soldered charms myself.
