LDS Cultural Halls present unique decorating challenges for the bride holding her wedding reception in one these utilitarian, all be it, free spaces! Draping both ends with black fabric plays a trick on the eye...one's eye is drawn to the black walls and the rest of the gym atmosphere recedes. I enclosed the light strings with gold metalic ribbon and then hung hundreds of clear glass ornaments for a classy, shimmering effect.
